The Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (MLR) Career Studies Certificate is designed to prepare students to become maintenance and light repair automotive technicians at automotive repair facilities. The training includes preparation for the ASE certification exams in Steering and Suspension (A4) and Brakes (A5). Additionally, the training includes preparation for the VA Safety Inspection exam.
A valid driver's license is required for admission into any Automotive Technology program. Students must visit the Regional Automotive Center prior to registration. Students are advised to consult with the program faculty prior to admission into the program.
