Program Requirement Notes

The General Automotive Program provides theory and practice on modern vehicles, but does not specialize in any specific brand.  This program encompasses a career studies certificate (Maintenance and Light Repair) and a certificate (Automotive Technology), which lead to an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.  An internship component will be required in the first year to complete the AAS degree.  Students who successfully complete the Associate of Applied Science degree will have potentially two years of practical experience and industry certifications through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).
