Southwest Virginia Community College

The Technical Studies, Associate of Applied Science degree program in Advanced Manufacturing is designed to provide training in three aspects of manufacturing. These include: precision machining (manual machines and CNC), welding, and mechatronics (electrical, mechanical, and industrial maintenance). This focus will provide introductory skills for advanced manufacturing technology, industrial maintenance, and other high-demand jobs in industrial and manufacturing occupational fields.
