BIOL310: Human Structure and Function I

Three hours lecture; three hours laboratory. Focuses on the structure of the human body and the physiology of the organ systems including mechanisms used to maintain homeostasis. Designed to meet the needs of students preparing for careers in allied health, human performance, recreation, and other non-science majors as well as for pre-nursing majors intending to apply to the Nursing program. Biology majors and any student intending to apply to medical schools, physician assistant schools, or veterinary schools are encouraged to take BIOL 410:411 and/or BIOL 350:351 instead of 310:311. Note(s): Does not meet the requirements for the Biology major. Credit will not be granted for BIOL 410 after a student has received credit for BIOL 310. Students receiving credit for BIOL 322 will not receive credit for BIOL 310 or BIOL 311.
