The Business Management program AAS is designed to meet the needs of recent high school graduates and others from the world of work who want to acquire new, develop old, or supplement existing skills and knowledge in and about business.

The associate of science degree in Computer Science is designed for students who wish to pursue a four-year degree in Computer Science. The curriculum is mapped to the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Transfer curriculum, which has Cybersecurity infusion.  The degree in Computer Science prepares students with core knowledge and skills needed for entry into baccalaureate schools of education programs in computer science. Students should know the specific requirements of the four-year school to which they wish to transfer to make appropriate course choices. The degree is transferable under TransferVA articulation agreements as long as the common curriculum is followed. 

The Career Studies Certificate in Office Skills is the first step toward and may be built upon to earn the Administrative Support Technology Certificate and the Business Management with a Specialization in Administrative Support Degree.

This curriculum is designed to provide administrative support technology education. It is recommended for students interested in a professional career as a secretary/administrative assistant, office manager, receptionist, or executive assistant. In addition, the Administrative Support Technology program teaches students to assume responsibilities once reserved for managerial and professional staff. Students will learn to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties necessary to run an organization efficiently and to serve as information and communication managers for an office.

The development of business, industry and government has created a great demand for qualified personnel in office occupations. The Associate of Applied Science degree curriculum in Administrative Support Technology is designed to prepare the student for full-time employment immediately upon completion of the program. Students who are either seeking their first employment in office positions or who are seeking promotions may benefit from the curriculum.

The two-year Administrative Support Technology curriculum is designed to prepare the student for full-time employment immediately upon completion of the program. The program includes instruction in areas required for competence as office support personnel in business, government, industry, law offices, and other industries. The program also prepares students for certification as a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS).

This program prepares students to work in an office position.

This certificate is designed for data entry level positions that require basic business knowledge and skills. Knowledge of business processes must be coupled with an understanding of accounting principles. Equally important is the ability to use good human relations and communications skills. This program develops these competencies and allows participants to succeed in this challenging and demanding environment.

This degree is designed for persons who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a program in computer science or a related field.
