Considerations for Selecting Degree | The Pre-Allied Health Career Studies Certificate (CSC) is designed to help prepare students for admission into one of Laurel Ridge Community College’s allied health programs, including Practical Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Surgical Technology, and Emergency Medical Services. Students enrolled in this CSC are not yet accepted into the Certificate or Degree programs listed but are completing their general education and prerequisite courses. |

The Pre-Allied Health Career Studies Certificate consists of 14-23 credits and serves as a guide for preparing the student to enter an allied health program. Students are encouraged to work with a Laurel Ridge advisor for course selection.
