THEA111: VOICE, DICTION, & ORAL READING (O)

The aim of this introductory course is to help students develop the skills to use their voice safely and effectively in public speaking and social settings. Through a variety of prepared and scripted readings from a range of genres and styles, students will learn control and command of vocal characteristics such as breath support, volume, tone, tempo, and pitch in service of individual confidence and emotional connection with an audience. Offered every Fall.
