CJ100: INTRODUCTION TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE

This course provides a general overview of social responses to crime.ΓΏ Students analyze the social circumstances that produce crime in diverse societies and cultures. The course focuses on the three large components of the criminal justice system: police, courts, and corrections and explores the perspectives of those involved in the production of crime and on the critical analysis of society's responses to crime.
