An introduction to principles of anatomy and physiology for students intending to complete the Nursing program. This is the second semester a two-semester course sequence to give students an understanding of human form (anatomy) and function (physiology). Students will learn anatomy and physiology using a systems approach. Topics include the structure and function of the endocrine, cardiovascular, immune, respiratory, digestive, and reproductive systems. The course will have a common theme of homeostasis. Three lecture hours per week.
