ENG282: U S LIT FROM 1860 TO PRESENT

The development of prose and poetry in the U.S. from the Civil War to the present, including the schools of regionalism, realism, and naturalism in fiction, the emerging African-American literary tradition, and the growing multicultural nature of U.S. literature in the 20th century, along with the development of Modernism and post-Modernism.
