PHY203: Fundamentals of Physics !

Designed for science, engineering, and computer science majors. The four fundamental forces are investigated using the ideas and terminology of both differential and integral calculus. Topics covered include Newtonian mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, quantum effects, and special relativity. Prerequisites: MTH 203 OR MTH 221. Additional prerequisite for 204: PHY 203. These courses have an additional fee. Six hours, four credits each.
