With the holiday season underway, colleges are wrapping up exams and final grades and preparing for up to two weeks of shutdown. What does that mean for you?

If you are a current student, you can still use the tools you always have at your disposal, like:

• your student information portal for your enrollment and financial aid data; 
• your advising portal to view course schedules, choose classes, and see how you are progressing in your studies:
• your Canvas classrooms, where you can view not just courses but many times resources to help you prepare for next semester.

If you aren't a student yet, you still have plenty of resources to help you finalize key decisions:

• each college's chatbot can give you information from across the college's robust resources, like the course catalog, important dates, scholarships, or virtual events in January - just open the chat bubble on the homepage and ask it anything
• your college's Youtube channel will have a wealth of information like interviews with students or tips from advisors - which can help you narrow down your major or career pathway
• our resources page has curated the best information across the state to help you prepare for online learning - like tutorials to help you with grammar or math skills as well as where to find help getting a computer or WiFi.

You can still always contact the college if you run into a snag - but they might not be available until early January. Just stay focused on your end goal, keep a list of your questions handy, and have a restful and festive holiday season.
